My name is Savannah and I'm interested in your Section 8 approved housing. I'm a single adult with a one-year-old child who requires rapid rehousing due to the poor condition of my current residence. I would like to move to Herkimer County, where my family is located, as soon as possible and I have the income to cover the monthly payments. I do not have any pets, have a steady income, am very clean and quiet, and am not sure if you are aware of rapid rehousing, but it is a form of shelter care/Section 8 and they are willing to provide the first month's rent, security deposit, and six months' worth of rent, which we would then split in half between my public assistance and their cash grant. If you call me at 315-316-5323, we can discuss the listing and if you accept rapid rehousing funding. I am currently homeless due to my landlord not fixing anything, which led me to the rapid rehousing program. This is beneficial for people who are either homeless or affected by domestic violence.
