My grandma resides in a building which has been under renovation since before last December. All the inhabitants of the structure are elderly and some of them, due to their disabilities, have been compelled to pack their belongings, which were then seized and locked away against their will. Whenever they ask authorization, they are being refused in an inconsiderate manner. Furthermore, they have been relocated to provisional places for months without their possessions. There has been proof of mold/roach contamination for a long time, which has affected their already deteriorating health and, from my point of view, laws are being broken by not permitting them to access their property. They are being maltreated, as far as I am aware, and are not given any aid and now live in fear every day. I cannot help them from California. If anyone has any information, please aid them. These are our seniors and they don't merit such treatment. I have video and photographic evidence of some of the appalling acts occurring there and am looking for legal advice.
