The only good thing about this place is the apartments; they are set up nicely. Everything else, however, is terrible - from management to the people living here. I was the first person to move in and saw everyone else who was allowed to enter after me. The management is a complete joke; it takes them ages to do anything you ask and when contacted are extremely irresponsible. I had moved here from Indiana for school but when that shut down we were forced to break our lease and pay all the bills associated with it. After that there was one more fee I had to pay but there was no way of getting back in contact with them as there were no phone numbers, emails or return addresses on their letters. It took me three months of calling my old neighbors at this residence before they finally answered - all they could say was sorry they hadn't called back sooner even though they had received all my messages! It almost came down to taking legal action against them due to their irresponsibility, but four months later I eventually got it paid off. The only nice thing about this place is the floor plans and layout; everything else is a joke.

Normally i dont do such things. but after thinking about it for the two weeks since its happened, let me take a moment to reflect on something. Those of you in Madisonville thinking of moving to an apartment, think twice before going to Cloverleaf apartments. Now dont get me wrong, though they are a bit small the apartment we had did us well for the year that we were there. Bug free, fairly clean, and somewhat quiet, i mean as quiet as you can expect from apartment living. The problem with said apartments comes from the manager of them, and her name is Hope Claybough. though forgive me if i butchered the last name. Now some of you may ask. What is wrong with her? I could go into a very drawn out list, but while im typing and seeing that this post is growing fast ill keep it as short as possible. Hope kicked us out. Now to be fair she didnt evict us or anything like that. What happened was that she refused to renew our lease, because of a lie. One of our Creditors called Hope - three weeks prior to her giving us the non renewal letter - and asked her if we were evicted from the property because that is what we had told them. Hope hearing this took this as a attack on her and so she called her corporate to get everything fixed so she could not renew our lease. then waited until a few days before May to give us the non renewal letter. Our lease ended on May 31st. so she gave us a letter with just a few days to move before may rent was due. and told me why she was doing it. saying that we had lied on her and the company and therefor they refused to renew the lease.first off, we did not say anything to anyone about being evicted from Cloverleaf apartments. the eviction happened to us prior to moving to Cloverleaf, in fact the eviction was why we had to move to Cloverleaf in the first place. we were actually very happy to live in Cloverleaf and did our upmost to show it by keeping the place clean and following the rules as best we could to make sure that we could stay. we were only late on rent 2 or 3 times and that was when i was hit with cancer and unable to work, and not bringing money home because i was out of work. When i tried to explain this to Hope she brushed me off and said that she had proof and i should talk with my wife, who was apparently the one who told the creditors the lie. but my wife had txt to prove thats not what she said, and i also know she would not have said that anyway. there was no reason to lie to the creditor in the first place. but thats a different story. So even though we had proof, Hope refused to listen or even give us a chance. not only that but she didnt even talk to us before going to corporate. we had no ability to say our side or give any deffince. so we had to find somewhere else to live. A man who is fighting -and winning- a cancer battle, a woman 8 months pregnant with a broken/fused back. and two children who are not even out of elementary school. That is why i say DO NOT GO TO CLOVERLEAF. The manager is nosy, she runs the place like a mother hen who thinks she is above everyone else. and she takes everything too personal. The Corporation she works for should really re consider who they hire for their Manager. considering the fact that i had to show her how to work her printer and computer on simple stuff that should be common knowledge for someone in her position. i feel like if she was replaced by someone who acted like a manager instead of a mother hen with personal agenda maybe more ppl would live there. just saying.
