Before we signed our lease and moved in, we were promised that the rent would remain the same since it is a low-income apartment, however the new owners won't honor that pledge and are increasing our rent by $200 when we renew. Moreover, none of the issues listed have been addressed, apart from more passive-aggressive notes warning of potential legal action (which is impossible since they don't know who is responsible). The woman at the office often doesn't answer the phone, and rarely is there after noon, despite the fact she gets angry and says she has been there all day.
