I used to live in Villagewood, and I can say that the management is a complete disaster and have no idea what they are doing most of the time. They even have a manager called Keith who does nothing but discriminate and belittle people, which is absolutely disgusting. He is usually very rude and disrespectful to the tenants, especially when he is busy. The management does not repair or maintain the property, for example, when I lived there, the windows were not properly insulated and the basement had moles all over, but they only painted over it. Navigate does not do anything except support the management and their nonsense. When they cannot provide a satisfactory explanation, they refer back to the lease, even though they do not even abide by it. The landlord is never seen, and I doubt he cares. I advise anyone considering this complex to avoid it at all costs, unless they have no other option and are in desperate need of a temporary place. The complex is terrible; built on swamp lands, the basements flood and there's mold which they simply paint over. Therefore one must consider taking legal action. The management is always changing, with Celina Perez currently as property manager - she is very rude and unprofessional. Discrimination occurs as they'll demand money without explanation - don't pay until it's justified! Don't put rent in mailbox - hand it in personally with a signed copy of date for records as these people are frauds. No parking lots or walkway cleaning either; though they claim city should plow, city claims otherwise. Maintenance staff members don't even wear name tags or company shirts so you know who they are! This place needs to be shut down so no one has to live here - if you have nowhere else to go then I understand but please try another living situation as this isn't healthy nor worth it at all: I have been trying to leave within 2 months of moving here yet 3 years and 6 months later I'm still stuck sadly. more ... hide ...
