For several years I have been trying to get one of the few one-bedroom units that were damaged by the hurricane in our area, and wanted to submit paperwork in the meantime. Despite going to the office multiple times during the posted hours of operation, the door is always locked and no one answers the phone. With my limited disability benefits, I have no choice but to remain dependent on my family and spend my income on food for the three of us and house upkeep. At 55 years old, I still don't have a "home of my own".more ...hide ...

Contrary to what one previous review stated, there are no insect issues because we get monthly sprays. I have had a few issues with loud neighbors and visitors, but they have never been serious enough to require calling the police or complaining to the office. The worst thing I've witnessed is adults smoking weed in the breezeways after midnight, but nobody minds as we all keep to ourselves. All major maintenance issues have been addressed within 24 hours or less and the staff are always very nice and helpful. As far as children running around unsupervised, most of the parents can observe their children at the park or outside the building, riding their bikes or scooters from the breezeway or windows, so there is usually at least one or two adults there with them. Additionally, the kids are not usually the ones leaving litter; it's more often adults discarding their food containers, Swisher wrappers, and cigarette butts on the ground.more ...hide ...
