This is the most wonderful place. I cannot say enough good things. My mother has been living here for almost five months now. She has reconnected with friends and met so many new friends. But what makes Talmage Terrace and Lanier Gardens so unique is the staff.It wasn€™t that easy a transition for my mother to move from her house (of 43 years). There were some hurdles during the transition. Every time I have reached out to a staff member (from any department) they never made me feel like I was disrupting their routine and would rally to help my mother in any and every situation.There is security 24/7 which I have to called, even in the middle of the night. What amazes me the most is the staff is so courteous and helpful no matter when I call.It has been a major blessing to have mom somewhere I know she is safe and around such positive, nurturing people, especially since I live four hours away.KUDOS to the staff at Lanier Gardens and Talmage Terrace in Athens Georgia!!!#1 Adult Community in my opinion!!!more ...hide ...
