The two bedroom apartment was average and the stainless steel appliances were full of handprints, no matter how I wiped them. The rent was overpriced if you paid the market rate, and there was an extra charge for parking, which could be useful because it can be difficult finding a space on the street. Security at the building used to be round-the-clock with armed personnel, but now it's unarmed from 4pm to 8am on weekdays and all day on weekends. Most of the security guards were nice people. The problem is that I'm still waiting for my security deposit since March 2020, and despite the pandemic and the new management, I'm still waiting as of July 20, 2020. Is there any legislation regarding the time frame for returning security deposits? I'm looking into it now. more ...
