They NEVER answer their phone and just hire anybody off the street Some appear to be very suspect Some associates send their kids there no not me My son has been abused in school and work God only knows what he endured verbally
Extremely disappointed with my employment experience I was hired on as a Program Coordinator in Host Family By the time I actually started the Coordinator had already quit and they hired to girl who didnt get the job the first time Stephanie the DiExtremely disappointed with my employment experience I was hired on as a Program Coordinator in Host Family By the time I actually started the Coordinator had already quit and they hired to girl who didnt get the job the first time Stephanie the Director Of Community living is very controlling and thinks she is the only person who has any good ideas and was originally an accounting major Stephanie and Danie walk around in a group and follow employees around the building trying to spy on you Cheyenne who is placement specialist is BFFs with Danie and they basically are everywhere together road trips long lunches meetings in Danies office that appear more about personal life stuff and spend very little time with most individuals They will act like they are your friend and care about you and then stab you in the back with personal information They encourage you to like the EPIC page and then stalk your personal page without you realizing it HR will deny this but it is common practice in the business world They say one thing in person and another in writing They pit employees against one another and try to get the individuals to tattle on staff They play the gotcha game constantly I self disclosed I was in a custody battle during my interview and was assured I would be able to have a flexible schedule Then once my abusive ex dropped off paperwork from court to tried to get me fired their tone changed Stephanie is married to a cop and appears to use that to her advantage I was told an OP is simply a piece of paper and then fired a few month later over Hearsay after they used random people in the community to spy on me and try to catch me doing something inappropriate and unprofessional in public Even the individuals notice the old EPIC employees working undercover as construction workers I was discriminated against after self disclosing I was in the process of getting a formal diagnosis from a forensic psychologist or adhd Giftedness and PTSD They had another office mate take notes of everything I did wrong one day and the next day called me to HR and read from printed copies of emails this individual sent This Q tried to get me to talk about my abusive x by telling me about her abusive x and then reported back what was said They even had a meeting with the other Q s that went on the one vacation I did and pumped them for information about what I did wrong Mind you I was the ONLY Q who got up every day at 6 am to be with the individuals while the others slept talked on the phone and texted I made them look good in the community and random people came up to me and complimented me asked where I was from and told me how amazing I was with the individuals Apparently they only want to keep lazy employees and harass the ones who do all the work They even have non medical personal making medical decision which is absurd The turnover rate here will continue to be horrible because they treat their employees like they are disposable and pit employee against employee It is the perfect implementation of OPPRESSION They should not claim to use Carl Rogers and his person centered theory because they know NOTHING about how it works They are a disgrace to his theory And they are using oppressed people to oppress others I really had high hopes until I went through 90 days of hell and only being partially trained and then blamed because they were busy or on vacation Very disappointed with this agency Praying there is some serious change SOON before they destroy what good is left The individuals most providers and many employees are great but they are ruining a very good thing by treating staff like pawns The kicker was I was told I behaved inappropriately at a local Starbucks I brought an individual and will be investigated by OIG Then a few hours after I arrived home they sent ERS to my house for a wellness check Thankfully she was a former employee at EPIC and knew exactly how the culture worked Praying and hoping some major changes occurmore ...hide ...

After finally having a day of orientation, I explained to the director that I had to pick up my husband from work at 3 PM due to only having one vehicle, but that I would be situated with transportation over the weekend. All I got in response was a paper with the date to return for orientation, which was another week away; this seemed strange, so I called the director the next morning to confirm the dates and left a message, but got no response. Later that evening, I received a call out of the blue from one of the house managers telling me to meet with a head person that day and to train with the other manager. I attempted to explain my issue with transportation but the lady terminated me on the spot without giving me a chance to prove myself. I can see why people are leaving the company; I'm glad this happened when it did - it was very unprofessional.more ...hide ...
