They tried to make me pay more than what my contract stated and I refused. I'm currently attempting to clear this complex's damage from my credit report. I'm so fortunate that I saved my bank statements and checks; the office staff had neglected their duties by incorrectly entering a higher amount on the lease - which they had already signed - then trying to get extra money out of me a month later. No way am I paying more than what's written in my agreement! This place wasn't worth it; the bathtub kept clogging, maintenance was careless with their work, washers only half-cleaned clothes and dryers failed to dry them properly. Moreover, people were always ringing my doorbell and smoking/drinking in the hallways - definitely not something anyone should have to put up with! If you're looking for an apartment complex in Park Forest IL then Pangea is your better option; appliances are new there plus you can choose which floor you want when signing your lease (unlike here where they gave me a first-floor apartment after changing move-in date without telling me). Overall it's best if you avoid this place as they'll try ripping you off – keep all your receipts/lease documents close by at all times just in case! If possible I would give it 0 stars.more ...hide ...

They haven€™t updated anything. They replaced the parking lot then started towing our cars if they didn€™t have parking passes in the windows. We have indoor outdoor carpet that buckles. No updated appliances. But they have been going up on our rent $75+ every year since they took over. And plow company they use is horrible I shoveled a walk way from unit to the front of the complex because I needed to get out when it snowed. They came the next day to plow and shovel. Garbage has been a disaster. I don€™t what type of tenant that€™s renting now but clearly they are people that have no value for where they stay. All the long/term tenants are moving out. I would not recommend living here.more ...hide ...
