They will look up whether you have any kind of court case number linked to your name to decide if you can get a place to live. Even though it may not be against the law, it is unjust and I believe that is why there are so many homeless individuals. Franklin Township has a small claims judge who has heard cases similar to this in his courtroom, and I'm sure he has brought it up in meetings to have it addressed. This isn't the only organization doing this, many apartment complexes do the same. This is unacceptable; victims of fraud can't even get housing. This problem is getting out of control. Consider other reasons why someone may not be able to get housing, apart from the ones I am discussing. Additionally, even if you win a court case, the apartments still don't care as long as there is a case number next to your name. more ... hide ...
