This problem of cold air coming thru overhead cabinets fuse box thru overhead vent over stove surrounding back wall in kitchen and entire bottom where new doors were installed started right after major renovation project No problems prior to that I This problem of cold air coming thru overhead cabinets fuse box thru overhead vent over stove surrounding back wall in kitchen and entire bottom where new doors were installed started right after major renovation project No problems prior to that I was happy with this apartment I addressed these problems to Inspector Robert Vacetti in 2015 He said hed have someone come back check it He tore taped foil off vent told me you cant do that He passed this apartment on his inspection I had temperature readings of 3843degrees of cold air coming into kitchen area which affects all of downstairs I could write a book with all Ive been going thru trying to get this fixed It was cited 2xs by Code Enforcement Its 8 yrs and problem still exists There was a bandaid job done it lasted a few months Its obvious after 8yrs they arent qualified or not motivated to fix these issues Im sure there will be a Management response trying to downplay my comment But as they say the prove is in the pudding I have the pudding more ... hide ...

The bathtub is a problem as it starts to peel each year, and neighbours have reported the same. Initially I was advised not to use bleach or any scrubbing agent as it worsens the peeling, so I stopped using it and instead just sprayed it down and rinsed, but it still peeled! It appears that the material used to repair it is of a low quality as I know of families who have lived in their homes for years and never had the same issue as we do at Colonial. The laundry room is also not great - it is a convenience to have a few available, but the washing machines are of poor quality; no matter how much detergent is added, there is no suds and hardly any water enters the washer, so the clothing does not get properly cleaned. For this reason, I have to take the trouble to order an Uber to get to the local laundromat. more ... hide ...

Ive lived here 11 years now while its a great place to live theres a few things that are atrocious Theres ppl playing music at all times of night Very loudly Theres ppl on dirt bikes andor 4 wheelers that ride thru the woods thru the back of my apa Ive lived here 11 years now while its a great place to live theres a few things that are atrocious Theres ppl playing music at all times of night Very loudly Theres ppl on dirt bikes andor 4 wheelers that ride thru the woods thru the back of my apartment around to the front on the grass where theres sometimes kids playing The parking accommodations are not ideal I believe we as residents should have assigned parking Theres more times than not that I come home to all the resident spaces taken because residents dont have their company park in visitor spaces I have medical issues with my back cant walk too far so its extremely inconvenient to have to park far from my apt walk to my housennI will say I love the atmosphere I like the fact that theres areas where kids can play and that the office provides families with activities Overall its a great placed to live I just wish some residents were more respectful of others around them more ... hide ...
