My family and I had an unpleasant encounter at CareOne when my mom had to be hospitalized for an unexpected surgery due to cancer issues. The staff in the office were not diligent with their obligations. The staff in the office were not diligent with their obligations. My dad, my sister, and I visited every day and could not get answers from anyone. I'm sympathetic to patients that don't have someone close to them to stand up for them, particularly the elderly who can't defend themselves.The medical personnel were nice but were obviously lacking in personnel. My mom was left waiting for up to half an hour for someone to change her bedpan because the staff were so overstretched.CareOne discharged my mom suddenly and did not prepare anything for her at home. They promised to have a wheelchair ordered by the insurance company, but it didn't arrive until days after she was discharged. I had to buy a wheelchair and ramp from a medical supply store the day of her discharge.After she was sent home and started to work with visiting nurses and physical therapists, her health improved drastically compared to her time at CareOne. I was happy to see a very clean and welcoming community when I went to visit a family member The receptionist was friendly and very helpful The common areas were well maintained and again very clean Overall a very good experience

I have been what you call a frequent orthopedic rehab flyer at Care One Wilmington I am an RN with a great many years in assisted living as well as elderly rehab I understand that no place is perfect especially with the duress of almost always work I have been what you call a frequent orthopedic rehab flyer at Care One Wilmington I am an RN with a great many years in assisted living as well as elderly rehab I understand that no place is perfect especially with the duress of almost always working short The care I received was extremely knowledgeable caring and professional I would recommend very strongly the Therapy department and their innovative ideas and great patience Everyone from laundry housekeeping nursingdietary therapy maintenceare amazing The nurses aides have a lot of physical back breaking work but yet still manage a smile The DONs administrator all pitch in frequently to do physical carenThank you Care One for making some of my most overwhelming days a bit easier more ... hide ...

We have had both my parents at Care One for over 3 years now The staff is so caring and helpful They have learned just how my parents like things and make all efforts to please them We couldnt be happier with them
