My family member had an issue with their rent and late fees while they were away from the apartment due to hospitalization and not being able to sign the lease. I spoke to Brad about the rent and lease prior to their absence, and he said not to worry about it until my family member returned. Two months later, a letter was sent indicating late fees. Neither Brad nor any other staff member in the office made us aware of the rent and late fees. He claimed that it is not his obligation to remind tenants about rent, despite me previously addressing the matter with him. Actually, being a part of the leasing office (not to mention a property manager) does make it part of his job to notify tenants of rent matters. Furthermore, he told me that this had nothing to do with me and wasn't my concern. Yet, I was speaking on my family member's behalf, so it was inappropriate of him to state that. He is not friendly or accommodating to customers. I don't understand how someone with his attitude can be responsible for a property, especially a senior apartment complex that requires attention and consideration for elderly tenants. more ... hide ...
