Sherman Associates owned it at first, then it was acquired by Bowman Properties for a year or two, and now another company owns it. Numerous apartments have windows that won't open, become foggy, and so on. Mice can be found in various places and the water is often shut off for so-called repairs that never materialize. It appears that the current building manager Kari Hope does not care about the tenants. I asked her to take care of some issues in my apartment as did other occupants, but she refused. At a meeting with the regional manager of the present managing company, she said that some repairs like windows wouldn't be done until springtime and asked "Why would you want to open your windows in the winter?"
Furthermore, a lot of the tenants who pay market rate for the building don't get their problems resolved, the mice problem isn't addressed, and even with the former on-site manager Jim McClullen in charge, nepotism reigned. It's still going on today and some individuals get brand-new sinks, countertops, and windows while others wind up with nothing.more ...hide ...
