I think it€™s funny that this apartment complex claims to take safety €œseriously€ but deleted my whole review about all of the unsafe things that happened here in my year of living at this complex. If I could giveI think it€™s funny that this apartment complex claims to take safety €œseriously€ but deleted my whole review about all of the unsafe things that happened here in my year of living at this complex. If I could give this place zero stars I would. When we toured this apartment complex there were already a ton of red flags prior to even signing the lease. We were told by management (Angela) that it was a safe and secured building. Within the unit there were some issues that we were promised would be fixed prior to move in.. Despite red flags I decided to go ahead and sign the lease. I moved in not even a year ago and upon move in there was already issues. Everything in the unit that needed to be fixed was not.. My first night at this complex and the toilet was spewing water all over the floor the floor. I put in a maintenance request and maintenance came out the next morning to fix the toilet and the door that was still laying on the floor. I was told by maintenance (Steve) that this unit was not move in ready and that they should not have rented it out until it was. From that point on things literally just kept getting worse. In the beginning of the year my car was broken into. I called the police to file a report and when the officer came out I was told that this place was known for break ins, suspicious activity, and that they got a ton of calls from this complex. I notified management on Monday and all she wanted to do was place the blame on myself. My car was broken into in their €œsecured€ parking garage that only residents have access to.. My car was also locked. Two nights after the original break in and my car was broken into again. The police were called out for a second time and as the officer was taking photos of my car another resident approached us and told the officer and myself that a few nights prior his apartment complex was broken into. Again, management was notified and not once did she or Lauren put out a notice, call anyone, or send out an email telling anyone to take extra precautions. A notice was never even sent out until MONTHS after all of this originally happened and all they did was stick a letter in the door stating to keep your belongings locked up as there was a break in over the weekend. They took NO extra precautions, didn€™t look into the people we believe was responsible, and nothing more was ever said or addressed. There were also a ton of occasions where the lobby, hall, and elevator would stink of smoke. There were also a few occasions where people would do drugs in their car or directly outside the door. Management was notified again and nothing was ever done.Ultimately what pushed me to move out after not even a full year at this complex was the events that began in the past few months. 4th of July weekend we had a girl come banging on our apartment door asking to use a phone.. she told us what unit she lived in and that unit didn€™t exist. This whole situation was off so I reported it to management along with the video footage from my unit and never received any response back as to if she was actually a resident. From that point on there were several instances where she would come bang on our apartment door late at night (past midnight). We never answered. We would see her in the stairwell really early in the morning when leaving for work or really late at night. The side door was also always propped open with a rock so we assumed that is how she was getting in and out. I had never once seen this girl prior to July. But ever since then we felt our safety was in danger and management never cared to look into it or give us a logical explanation. There is absolutely no reason anyone should be banging on your apartment door that late at night, I don€™t care what their reasoning is.All in all, we had a ton of not so favorable experiences here.. but these were just a few of them. Management is lacking. Security sucks (this complex also has no cameras). And this complex seems to not take any of your matters or concerns seriously. This complex is not worth it.more ...hide ...
