It is especially beneficial if you are of low income. These apartments are located within the Rockwood school district, making it an ideal place to raise children. Despite having limited funds, one cannot complain about the availability of affordable housing in a middle-class district with excellent schools. My apartment was in good condition - two bedrooms of a decent size, plus a small patio space. I found the management to be excellent, as they would often inspect for clutter, spray for bugs, and respond to maintenance requests within a day or two. Although there were kids playing outside, I never had an issue with them - though I did once stumble across a little girl dumpster diving. I brought her back to her apartment, where the adults were unfortunately neglectful. On the whole, most of the neighbors were friendly and took care of their children. Whenever there was trouble, such as public arguments or fighting, the police would be informed and the people involved would be evicted. I am thankful for having the opportunity to get back on my feet in a clean, affordable environment that was safe. I highly recommend this housing complex to anyone I know who is financially struggling.more ...hide ...

The area was fine, with great nearby shopping, and a great school district. However, I was glad once the one year was up and I could move away. The leasing agents were polite, but it was clear that they didn't really care. My upstairs neighbor was terrible. Cigarette butts, trash, kitchen utensils, cheap toys, and hair accessories were all scattered around the area. I complained, but the problem persisted. The walls were so thin that I could hear the steps of a toddler running around during the night. In addition to that, I heard arguing, pillow talk, and moaning from the apartment above me four times a day. My apartment smelled when I first moved in, and even plugins didn't seem to help. There was also a serious problem with spiders, which was frightening when I had a baby that couldn't speak. If you value your dignity, this isn't the place for you. If you're unemployed or in school, make the best of it. Oh, and I can't forget the small, dirty children who played "ding-dong-ditch" every week. All in all, I got what I paid for (which was free rent).more ...hide ...
