To enter the building, which used to just require a simple code that my Mom would type in, has changed to a more advanced system that the elderly residents may not be able to figure out how to use to let family and friends in. The hallway is darker than before and doesn't have the same cozy atmosphere that had been created by each resident hanging lovely, simple decorations on their door. They are no longer allowed to do this. Management is treating the vulnerable adults and seniors like they are in a military camp or boarding school. Why would they take away the flowers that a resident planted and kept in their own window? Who does that? That lady is going to be the death of those residents if they are not allowed to feel secure and content in their own community at St. Agnes. I'm very angry to see such unwelcome changes affecting the lives of the tenants. Independent living should remain just that - independent! It was once five stars, but now has dropped to two stars because of the new management. more ... hide ...
