It was frustrating being restricted to the premises during late night to early morning hours without being able to step outside for a smoke without the threat of being kicked out. I was also misjudged when I tried to take care of my anxiety as being unruly and disrespectful. My abuser would not allow me to leave, instead of calling the police, he would just hit me and push me back in. more ...
