Whether it be because of low wages, too much work, or favoritism, it is apparent that these employees are only there for the paycheck. I am not saying that I would do any better if I had to deal with a community suffering from mental illnesses and addiction; however, I do understand my own limits. There are many other organizations that need help. If you feel like you are avoiding your clients or losing your sense of caring, it would be wise to move on. You are not doing anyone any good when you make excuses for clear negligence. Despite my case manager being new, I can still feel the pressure from higher management, and I am disheartened by what I observe. I have tried to be kind and respect the hierarchy, but it seems my opinion is not important enough for them to return my calls or consider my worries. Therefore, I must speak out in a different way. I hope they will see this and understand that my comment is not an attack on any individual, but rather, the organization as a whole. Please adhere to the mission that you proclaim and practice what you preach. My sister was placed at a group home through this organization under a board of mental health hold after leaving the lincoln regional center at a facility located at 2504 S 60th St Omaha NE She was released when she was a clear danger to herself only My sister was placed at a group home through this organization under a board of mental health hold after leaving the lincoln regional center at a facility located at 2504 S 60th St Omaha NE She was released when she was a clear danger to herself only to go live with an abuser who already had over 50 instances of domestic abuse disturbances reported to the police with the man she was being released to along with a domestic assault charge against my sister as well as a previous restraining order They subjected my sister to electroshock therapy then set her free She is now on the brink of death This organization is deplorable and will be subject to a medical malpractice suit If you want your loved ones to get terrible care be neglected by staff and have their mental health needs overlooked this is the place for you more ... hide ...
