When the Twin Oaks apartments first opened five years ago, they were attractive. However, over the years the quality has diminished due to the conduct of tenants. However, over the years the quality has diminished due to the conduct of tenants. Electronics have been stolen from the community room and gym equipment is often missing. The machines are unreliable and too expensive; it's better to go to the laundry across the street. The building is dirty, with mouse infestations, roaches, and reports of bedbugs. I have lived here since it opened and can't wait to move out. I would not recommend this place to anyone, as they should not experience the same conditions I have. The leasing managers and superintendents have changed multiple times in the five year period. Pets are allowed as long as they meet the requirements stated in the lease agreement, but beware of their waste. There are black boxes and glue traps around the building to deal with mice. Cleanliness doesn't matter when you have disgusting neighbors who don't pick up after themselves. There are only two people that work here: the superintendent and the leasing manager. This place deserves a zero-star rating, but this honest review had to be given. more ... hide ...

I am one of the first tenants to reside at Twin Oaks and Im happy to say this is a wonderful place to live Its quiet clean and they do not put up with any nonsense at all To me its one of the best apartment buildings in Hempstead
