Among the items they pilfered was a bubbler with no trace of drugs. When I arrived home, there was an eviction notice indicating that the police had been called. I was immediately suspicious since they had not spoken to me. I mustered up the courage to phone the sheriff's office, only to be informed that they had no knowledge of the situation. Being a young adult, I had no idea that what they did was a criminal offense. They rummaged through my things and even stole from me, while lying about it. Maintenance staff surveil tenants and made several remarks about the African-American male who had stayed in my apartment for a few nights when my friend and her partner had nowhere else to go. Please be cautious and don't let them into your dwelling without someone being present. If I am able to take legal action, I certainly will, as I have evidence of passing drug tests.more ...hide ...
