Cameras should be installed in all common areas to ensure accountability. Similarly to other places, no firearms are allowed in the common areas and office, however, according to Ohio law, landlords are not allowed to ban handguns from tenants' apartments or from their vehicles when commuting on and off of the property. Landlords are only permitted to prohibit long guns and handguns if the tenant does not have a CHL. This must be specified in the rental agreement. I am planning to sell my own place soon due to the extravagant rent, anyway. Furthermore, animals are everywhere, people keep bringing cats and dogs, and you are bound to hear a lot of barking, as well as the loudest and rudest kids and adults.
