Consequently, they manage through fear and danger of eviction if the tenants do not obey their instructions, even if they violate the law. For example, 1) they tell tenants who to associate with and be friends with, regardless of the tenants' wishes, and they expect everyone to abide by their decisions; 2) they refuse to allow a true tenant council to stand up for the occupants' rights and instead have invented a phony group run by tyrants that also threaten and frighten tenants and make up fraudulent reports about them, which the administrators accept as the truth without verifying with most of the tenants, then use those false reports to pressurize the tenants into obeying . . . and thats only the top of the heap . . .inhabitants of Alexis Manor are scared to speak out for fear of reprisal from the dictators and from the administration. I would not advise anyone to live here if they want to be treated as an adult and be able to live without fear.more ...hide ...

My mom has been living in this area for almost a decade, and I couldn't be any more overjoyed or grateful to have such a great place for her. Of course, there are regulations, but this is a low-priced housing community with a lengthy waiting list, where people pay approximately $200 in rent. The residents and their families should be giving thanks to Sister Barb and all those that manage the area; it is a secure, clean, and inexpensive home situated in Wexford. They sustain a firm control to ensure safety, and it is a place where my mother has made friends, was welcomed to a nurturing atmosphere, and received many birthday cards under her door each year. Her needs were satisfied and she was even given extra nice things. We are so thankful for Sister Barb and Alexis Manor for all they have done for my mother.more ...hide ...
