The manager lies and cheats whenever possible, refusing to send maintenance to repair the old, outdated stoves and fridges. The vents are falling apart, and the dishwasher had to be removed due to mice. Mice are present in all apartments, no matter how clean they are. If residents complain, the manager, Julie, will include them on her "Revenge List" and send them notices of violation of their lease for things such as BBQ pits and items on their patio, even if they don't own either. It's her word against theirs. These apartments should not be qualified for housing or government assistance, as they are too far gone. Parking a car or having visitors is not allowed either, as all cars will be towed away. It's likely that management is getting some kind of benefit from all this, as it's a racket. If you're thinking of moving in, be aware that you've been warned: rats may get you, and if not, bedbugs will. I had to leave because it was too much, and then I get a bill for $50 for cleaning the bathtub, $200 for cleaning the ceiling fans, and a $3000 bill. She even sent it to a creditor. I left the apartment in a better condition than when I rented it. I'm now filing a complaint with the Houston Apartmentmore ...hide ...
