This place is terrible; I used to love living here before we had new management and office staff. I had to move out of my flat since my ceilings were leaking from the apartment above me, and then my unit developed mould. I had to move out of my flat since my ceilings were leaking from the apartment above me, and then my unit developed mould. I phoned the rent office almost every other day for four weeks, even trying to call the corporate office number, yet still got no response or callback. This all happened in July, and when someone eventually came out, it was August, and they only did so after I contacted the City of Richmond. The city official had to make two trips to the office before somebody would arrive to assess the apartment with him. The office was fined and given 15 days to address the issue. Consequently, mould was spewing out of my vents, covering the corridor walls, as well as the bathroom and the master closet in the master bedroom. I lost numerous clothes, shoes, and furniture. The office sent two men with mould remover to wipe the walls down and asked me to move out while contractors came to mend the problem and put up new sheetrock. I was told it would take three weeks. Well, four weeks later I returned home and nothing had been done. A contractor came on the day I returned and said they had to gut the unit, as he could not handle it and didn't do that type of work. After that day, I never heard anything else from the office about repairing the apartment or anything else. more ... hide ...
