I am absolutely in love with this place and I'm not planning on leaving anytime soon! The rent is reasonable and they even cover my power bill each month. It's a great location too, since it's two blocks away from the Capitol building and one block away from State Street, plus most bus routes pass through this area. There's even a grocery store right next door! The staff here are friendly and attentive. When my refrigerator broke down on a Friday evening after everyone had gone home, I was surprised when someone came over to fix it within the hour! The building manager was also really quick and helpful when I needed assistance with something else. Some people are critical of the staff, but I think it might be because of how they treat them. Attached are some before and after pictures of my apartment with my furniture. I think these pictures will show how spacious this one-bedroom place is. It has a separate foyer outside the living room, a small hallway between the bedroom and bathroom, and the kitchen is a room of its own. All of this makes it feel more like a home rather than an apartment. I don't understand why someone would complain about living here, especially if they're not used to living in a city. I try to remind myself daily how lucky I am to live here, since it's a dream come true for me. more ... hide ...
