I left this place a few years ago and it is often quite peaceful - but it can also be quite strange. On beautiful days, no one is out and about; there are rarely children playing in the parks either. Residents here snitch to the police or management staff over anything they can think of, so it's not a great environment for kids unless you have elderly neighbors who don't mind them. Management listens to gossip instead of residents and will evict you for even minor issues like parking incorrectly by accident. Kids under five often roam unaccompanied yet their parents face no repercussions, while good tenants who pay their rent on time are always the ones kicked out. If management could loosen up their strict rules and take an interest in things, this place could be alright - but I fear that if nothing changes soon then it'll end up going to hell! Oh yeah - when moving out they treat you terribly: sending letters with violations listed (even if all you did was call the police!) is against your lease agreement. The worst part has got to be when maintenance mow the lawn at ungodly hours - I understand people need to get up early but they keep going back over the same patch again and again! Still though, compared to other low-income properties around here this isn't too bad...but then again what do you expect when dealing with these kinds of people?more ...hide ...
