They will do whatever they can to meet everyone's needs. It should be noted that there are usually only a few staff members in a group home and many residents, which can become quite chaotic. The facility is kept clean and the staff keep the residents occupied, teaching and assisting them to become independent. If you require help, the personnel will try to help you when they have the time, even if they are busy. The center has excellent cooking programs, church services, and provides decent meals and snacks. Assigned chores must be done and if they are not completed, privileges such as going for walks will be denied. At first, I viewed the situation negatively, but now I realize that it was my own fault that it wasn't ideal. I regret not following directions. Lived there for over 10 years. Used to be ok until new landlord came in and things started going downhill from there. The maintenance neglect outside work and take over a week to come fix a simple problem in an apartment
