Everyone living in the house is aware of the smoke-free policy, yet people upstairs and downstairs continue to puff on cigarettes. Everyone signed a contract committing to not smoke, but the agreement is disregarded daily. I have attempted to eliminate the scent with Fabreeze and other odor-eliminating chemicals, but cigarette butts are scattered throughout the property, demonstrating a lack of respect for the rules and for second-hand smoke. FAME only took action to fix the appalling living conditions after I and other tenants complained to the health department. Now, in April 2019, the smoking has gotten even worse, with tenants smoking in the very next room! I will not be renewing my lease in May 2019.
