I visit this facility numerous times I have a friend there that I visit every week I find that all the staff are courteous and friendly They are very attentive in taking care of all residence Im even more impressed with all the activities they hav I visit this facility numerous times I have a friend there that I visit every week I find that all the staff are courteous and friendly They are very attentive in taking care of all residence Im even more impressed with all the activities they have planned for them Keeping their minds and bodies active to help them feel relaxed and comfortable Besides just visiting my friend I am a volunteer at this facility I also visit many other residence I go at least twice a week I go to visit because a lot of residence dont have family or anyone to come and visit them My purpose is to put a smile on there faces spend time talking with them laugh sing pray and most of all I listen Seniors have amazing stories to tell and they are precious more ... hide ...

I arrived about 5 PM however was expected to leave by 615 PM yet was told normal visiting normally ends at 8 PM Had to find help getting through a door into rehab pavilion Otherwise all aspects were supportive and easy

My mother remained here for three months prior to her death. Although she had dementia and other illnesses, I never anticipated her to only survive three months after being placed here. Although she had dementia and other illnesses, I never anticipated her to only survive three months after being placed here. I was no longer able to care for her on my own. The rooms were not kept clean, and most of the staff lacked empathy and compassion. My mom fell numerous times and they did not want to put an alarm in place to alert them when she was trying to get up to use the restroom. She was not accustomed to wearing diapers. They preferred to just give the patients medication so that they would stay in bed. My mom contracted a UTI, refused to eat, and refused dialysis since she disliked the facility and the treatment she was receiving. There was one nurse she liked and a few CNAs. The food was not suitable for seniors. Up to this moment, almost three months later, no one has contacted me to offer their condolences for my mother's passing. During hospice, they were unwilling to give her the pain medication as recommended since they claimed she wasn't in pain. Even though she could no longer communicate this, it was obvious that she was not comfortable. I would suggest looking elsewhere for a place to take your family. My mom is 98 years young and has lived at Bridgeway in Hillsborough for almost 3 years She has the best care The aids and nurses and workers notably Betty Margie Philip and Alex are wonderful and care for the residents like they are their own family My mom is 98 years young and has lived at Bridgeway in Hillsborough for almost 3 years She has the best care The aids and nurses and workers notably Betty Margie Philip and Alex are wonderful and care for the residents like they are their own family The activitys group with Johann Kathy Charles Kat and more are fantastic The breath of programs and activities are amazing all interactive and engaging with the residents My mom participates in just about every game bingo and other fun activities held inside and also outside on the beautiful grounds during the summer months The facility is safe and Bridgeway strictly follows CDC covid guidelines I would strongly recommend Bridgeway for your family members loved ones and friends more ... hide ...
