Furthermore, this is a pet-friendly community and thus, all pet-related matters are subject to local pet laws, so any such issues should be reported to the relevant authorities. I think Foxwood should make a flyer that includes contact information for local animal control and shelters, along with a link to the local dog laws, a disclaimer stating Foxwood isn't responsible for people's pets, and a requirement that pet owners direct all complaints to the applicable local governing body. Also, they should either revise the lease or have us all sign an additional agreement making clear that Foxwood is released from all liability regarding people's pets, while encouraging people to get renters insurance, particularly those with dogs. more ... hide ...
