Ive lived at town place for the past year For a first apartment its not bad and its very cheap But you get what you pay for The hallways elevators and stairways always smell terribly of something you just cant pinpoint Penny the manager was definitel Ive lived at town place for the past year For a first apartment its not bad and its very cheap But you get what you pay for The hallways elevators and stairways always smell terribly of something you just cant pinpoint Penny the manager was definitely not fun to deal with She seemed nice at first but she constantly ignoreddodged my calls and never called me back When I approached her in person she was EXTREMELY standoffish and rude Didnt give me a copy of my rental agreement when I moved in and when I eventually asked for one she was nasty about it Every time Ive had to interact to her has been very stressful and just generally dreadful because of how rude she isnnAt one point due to corona I lost a lot of hours and nearly got laid off at my job and the landlord told me that I could just pay as much of that months rent as possible and I didnt have to worry about the rest I felt relieved I payed about 34 of it which was everything I had only until a few days later when I got a call from her threatening to evict me in three days if I didnt pay the rest immediately Extremely messed up in my opinionnnThey also CLAIM to have a working buzzer system but mind you they do notor did not when I was there There are a lot of older people living in town place and there was a time when an older woman fell in her apartment and couldnt buzz her son up to come help her because their buzzers dont work despite the fact that they advertise them in their rental adsnnOverall Id say dont go looking for an apartment here unless you absolutely have to Literally anywhere else would be better than this place They dont care about their tenants and I cannot stress enough how rude and scammy penny is PS Ive noticed a lot of the responses to these bad reviews include something along the lines of town place claiming the writer didnt live there so if any one needs it Ive got proof of all of this Rental agreements pics of rotting food And dog feces in the stairways and nasty letters from penny herself more ... hide ...
