I provided the Forman with images of the concrete frames and requested they be straightened, but nothing was done. Furthermore, the concrete company damaged my neighbor's mail box. Additionally, the deck footers are significantly off-level and are easily noticeable upon arrival to the house. The basement had two fissures that reached from top to bottom, allowing water and muck in prior to the home being framed. The one-piece bathtub/shower was cracked when installed. The individual sent to repair it said it would never be accurate and would break again. I had to contend to have it replaced with a new bathtub. The Forman did the drywall job himself and it was awful, and he left a quarter-inch gap between the tile and drywall that seemed to have split. I had to object and provide photos to get them to “REPAIR” the walls. The painter also did an unsatisfactory job, as not a single trim is wholly painted and there are splotches everywhere. To sum it up, I am disappointed with my new home and do not wish I had Mitchell Homes build it for us. Furthermore, the 2/10 warranty is inadequate. I had to pay almost 1000 dollars to have two extra cracks patched up on my basement walls. My residence is less than two years old and the basement has already cracked four times, permitting water to entermore ...hide ...
