My nanny goes here and she absolutely loves it They have doctors here that doesnt charge to see anyone They eat breakfast lunch and dinner and play games Theres so much good and amazing things done here I respect this place Its also nice inside

I'm not sure how this place has garnered any good reviews. My grandmother has been going here for just over two years and I'm at a loss as to where to start. Initially, we thought this was the best-kept secret in NC when we first moved here, but it has turned into a real nightmare. My grandma has dementia and requires assistance with virtually everything. She routinely returns home in clothing that does not belong to her and her own items are never returned. Unfortunately, that is not our primary issue. There is zero communication between the uneducated staff that runs the place and our family. We are the ones that must do all the calling, yet the only response we get is voicemails and no returned calls. We were told that she was supposed to have her teeth pulled today (Friday) but they were actually removed on Wednesday. When we phoned to inquire why, we received a voicemail and no call back. We again contacted them today and eventually got someone, who simply stated "I got busy". Clearly, our family is not a priority for anyone there. If you don't care about your family, by all means, put them with these ill-equipped clowns and let them perish, but the staff are only there for a paycheck and have no concern for others. They took away her right to make her own medical decisions. This means that to take your relative or participant to the ER, eye doctor, or specialist, you must get their approval for the insurance to cover it. Grandma has Stage 3 kidney failure and was instructed to go to a kidney specialist every three months, but they wouldn't let her. She was to receive eye drops after her eye surgery, which we had to fight for them to approve. We were told her prescription would be delivered that afternoon, but it wasn't; it took three days and I had to be firm to get it. There is only one nurse, Greg, that is worth noting; he is knowledgeable and detail-oriented, but he can't do it all on his own. It is strongly advised to keep your family member or yourself away from this place; it is not a pleasant environment. more ... hide ...
