I contacted my current landlord to see if they had been asked for a reference and they said no one had. I have never been evicted, I am always on time with payments, and my credit score is affected by medical bills which I am paying off. I called again after a month to find out why I was declined and was told that the letters had been sent out to those who weren't successful. It has been a few days and I still haven't received anything in the post.
