They can take an entire week to "repair" something and when they don't fix it, you have to place another request and wait yet another week. My shower also would frequently scald me, even when the heat was low or nonexistent, and nothing was done about it. Also, unless you can get a high-floor apartment, don't live here. I would sleep with two fans, a white noise machine, and earplugs, yet still wake up to the people above me stomping around at 1am and waking up at 5am. I never got a proper sleep until their unit was shut down due to bedbugs an entire week later. I knew it was time to move out when six police cars pulled up as I went for a evening stroll. The first couple of months were great, provided nothing needs to be fixed in the unit. But since this was constructed in the 1980s, I can guarantee something will break. The one great thing was having a fireplace whenever the electricity went out in the wintertime. I am much more content living in a modern apartment now and would not suggest this place unless it's the only thing you can pay for; you could do worse.more ...hide ...

Building 21 has suffered structural sewage disruption, which leads to periodic flooding of dirty wastewater from the commode and bathtub drain. This has occurred three times in a six-month period. The maintenance employees are always friendly and helpful. However, it took plumbing and the carpet cleaner six hours to appear. From nine in the morning to five in the evening, I was unable to use my toilet or shower as a result of this crisis. It is extremely exasperating to have to endure this often and randomly. Additionally, I was notified that another building on the property experiences this frequently. The property manager has not reached out to any of us in the building concerning the issue, and when I call to talk to her, I am told she will only speak to me with an appointment.
