The food is frequently not edible and those who are unable to cook for themselves have no choice but to survive with it. They are paying a huge amount of money each month and yet they are still being served minuscule amounts of food, such as the beef stew with just five tiny pieces of meat. The outdoor deck, which was once presented to them as having a chef cooking on a grill, has become unusable and is blocked off due to safety concerns. The staff turnover is also very high, as they are expected to do jobs that do not belong to their role. We have already complained to the local leadership yet nothing has been done and it has only gotten worse. Who should we report to? Any of the three managers that have been there in the last year? We strongly recommend to stay away from this place.more ...hide ...

They presently do not have a cook (he left on leave and his replacement also left, so they will be a week without a cook?) thus today's meals were cold cereal for breakfast (they were informed they couldn't even make toast) a grinder for lunch and pizza for supper. On other days, even with their chef, they serve one small meal for dinner and cottage cheese and fruit as the substitute. And they are spending an extra $790/month for food for the extra individual. Plus, they are already paying more money since they have a two-bedroom place? I am appalled and very disappointed in the facility. This is not an assisted living facility, so they don't get many services to begin with, but the food has been bad from the start and is declining even more quickly. They often run out of food, provide tiny portions, use too much salt for senior citizens and the inhabitants pay close to $4500 for a two-bedroom with two people. Not okay. On a positive note, I have heard good things about Ashley and Brendan. Tonight's update: they "ran out" of the dinner that my mom was going to bring to her husband so she requested for a sandwich to take him up, as they have done in the past. She was told "oh we aren't doing that anymore". He had a cup of soup for dinner. Seriouslymore ...hide ...
