If we ever have a query, they are always willing to take the time to listen and explain, or get the answer for us. There are also various festivities throughout the year, such as brunches, dinners, and barbecues, which the whole family is welcome to attend and enjoy the delicious and healthy food. The staff consistently go the extra mile to make everyone feel at home, so much so that we have even grown to know the family members of the other residents, forming a sort of extended family. The location is ideal, located close to Route 53, and offering plenty of shopping, dining, and entertainment options. Residents also have the chance to explore the area on the bus, and there are plenty of churches nearby. Since moving in, Mom has been doing great; having her peers to talk to, eat with, and play with has done her a world of good. I have yet to visit my aunt but I need to say how appreciative our family is for Sylvia She called to merely reschedule a visit and ended up going to my aunts room to teach her how to call from her iPad AFTER her shift was up After several attempts o I have yet to visit my aunt but I need to say how appreciative our family is for Sylvia She called to merely reschedule a visit and ended up going to my aunts room to teach her how to call from her iPad AFTER her shift was up After several attempts of FaceTime not working she used Messenger She was so kind and went above and beyond what was asked If this is the type of employee Alden has working for them this is where I would want my loved ones to go Thank you Sylvia for your genuine care and compassion Joy more ... hide ...

We had the pleasure of relocating Mom to Alden Gardens when it opened 6 years ago, and have been more than pleased with each facet of the experience. The staff are outstanding and it's a delight to observe the strong relationships between workers and We had the pleasure of relocating Mom to Alden Gardens when it opened 6 years ago, and have been more than pleased with each facet of the experience. The staff are outstanding and it's a delight to observe the strong relationships between workers and residents. Mom often expresses to us she has no cause for worry ... A grand place to reside, tasty food, attentive and caring nursing staff, prompt maintenance if required, assiduous housekeepers, and everyone is so kindly and respectful to her. If I have any queries about her care, the staff quickly provides answers and aid as required. As for Dad, he was in the nursing home (also an Alden facility) adjoining. It was an ideal solution since Mom could walk over to visit him daily. During the colder months, the Alden Gardens personnel even accompanied her to the next door address so she would reach there safely. We are truly appreciative of the many, many ways the Alden Gardens staff have gone out of their way to look after our family's needs and help my parents make the most of a difficult situation as they had to reside separately due to Dad's medical issues.
