I am leaving Hillview Ridge Apartments 1 as I have been here for a long time. It used to be a great place with the previous management and maintenance workers getting things done promptly. However, for the past few years, with the new management in p I am leaving Hillview Ridge Apartments 1 as I have been here for a long time. It used to be a great place with the previous management and maintenance workers getting things done promptly. However, for the past few years, with the new management in place, I do not feel that they know what they are doing most of the time. I was alarmed when I received an "Eviction Notice" that my lease was coming to an end, only to find out that it was just a renewal. The management is rarely in the office and does not pick up the phone, as well as missing or being late for appointments. The place is not maintained like it used to be when I first moved in and maintenance workers appear to be lazy and slow to fix things. Moreover, I am unhappy with the privacy issues as the walls are very thin, allowing me to hear my neighbours and vice versa. The assigned parking space is a problem, as I have to fight for parking at night or park far away. There are a lot of dead lights at night that have not been fixed for a long time, the balcony is not safe for kids as objects can easily fall and water can run down to the downstairs neighbour. more ... hide ...
