The personnel at Wakefield Place are amazing, especially Mrs. Grenier, who will go out of her way to help. Almost everyone here is friendly and the building is a well-maintained historic landmark. The two bedroom apartment is roomier than the one I lived in previously and has more storage space; however, there are loud motorcycles and cars with noisy mufflers that can be a nuisance. Additionally, the dust particles can be seen if all the blinds are closed and the lights are off. I have three air purifiers, but they are not very effective. There are a lot of rules here, but they must be followed. There is ample parking, a gym, a playground, a library, and a swimming pool; however, the schools are not great. Fortunately, I am close to a variety of amenities, but if I need to shop at stores such as Best Buy, Home Depot, Lowes, Target, Market Basket, or Five Below, I have to drive to Fitchburg or Leominster. more ... hide ...
