The area is great and if you're fortunate with your unit number, the view is amazing; however, management completely ruins the experience. Package delivery? That's a no-go since your items will be taken. Going to their office? Not possible since they are open only during work hours. Getting something fixed in your apartment? An emergency request has to be filed so that you'll receive a response in a couple of weeks - even for serious issues such as water leaks. Wanting a reasonable temperature inside the building? Forget about it as management has control over whether heat or A/C is available and their decisions are somewhat irrational; heat on spring days when temperatures reach 85F or higher and A/C on chilly autumn nights when temps dip below 30F (they claim that following the law but that's false). Planning to file an official complaint soon since management won't respond.
Additionally, fire alarms go off often because many people smoke indoors even though there's a no-smoking policy set up already - I've witnessed it occurring multiple times within one week by itself! And then there was an instance where somebody left their sweatshirt on the stove which caused considerable damage throughout our building too. To top it all off, rent prices have increased annually - more than any raise offered at work usually!more ...hide ...
