I have been residing at this location for two years and I have never had an issue with management UNTIL the new company took over. My family and I have greatly appreciated the family-oriented atmosphere of the place. The former management was very welcoming and reliable; they recognized us by name, responded to our requests and queries quickly, kept us informed and showed consideration. They even assisted me in finding a great nanny for my newborn who lived five doors away. She has become like a family member now. Since the new management has taken over, however, they are late in replying; they take their time to cash rent payments, the leasing staff are rude and unhelpful, and the leasing office has irregular opening hours. This has been the experience of many of my neighbors. No one should have to tolerate this kind of service. So, if you are looking for a secure place to bring up your family, I suggest you look elsewhere. I am certainly counting down the days to vacate this complex. The grounds are also attractive since there are a number of mature trees on the property. If you like to have a bit of nature in a city atmosphere, then this property is worth considering. In general, the neighbors were great! I never had packages left outside my door that were not secured and people were generally genteel. The buildings are older but I found them to be more soundproof. I hardly ever heard my neighbors (except for some normal sounds) unless they were intentionally making noise. To that end, for about two years there was one neighbor in a different building that was excessively loud with their music (at extreme volume and opening windows and doors). Several neighbors complained and the previous management took some steps to address it, but the issue never really was resolved (it kept occurring with some pauses in the noise). BE THAT AS IT MAY, under the new management I noticed an immediate improvement. My final few months were quiet and I was extremely impressed with the new management, particularly the Assistant Manager, Stacy Freeman. They are professional, prompt, and kind. If I hadn't been transferred to another state due to my job, I would have renewed my lease. more ... hide ...
