2019-07-01T19:37:01ZIve lived here about 4 years or so nowand its truly great Before I moved here I was definitely skeptical because the city of Highland Park did not have a good reputation However once I got here I saw how nice it was The complex itself is very nice on Ive lived here about 4 years or so nowand its truly great Before I moved here I was definitely skeptical because the city of Highland Park did not have a good reputation However once I got here I saw how nice it was The complex itself is very nice only being a few years old The staff keep the grounds looking nice and clean As far as maintenance on the apartments itself they are pretty good other than the fact that theres a leak near the door which has been there for a while but never properly fixed Theyve always just mudded over the crack which is always a temporary fix Once it rains again the mud comes off and the leaking begins again It wasnt until this year that they sent a roofing specialist out to see what the actual problem is I havent heard back regarding the status or when theyre going to come fix it so thats why it is not a 5 star reviewnnAs far as safety goes Ive had no issues I always feel safe walking around the complex at night and the police patrols through pretty often as well Because the city is so small if I even had any issues the police come very fast unlike bigger cities such as DetroitnnI do not like that the club houseleasing area can no longer be used by residents I was told someone used it and basically ruined the privilege for the rest of us I tried to have my college graduation part there but I wasnt allowed Being a resident who has never caused any trouble its not fair to me butI suppose I understand they cant take any risksnnMy neighbors are very quiet I dont hear any yelling or screaming no incidents I cant speak for others around the rest of the complex but on the side I live on its very quietnnYou also control your own heat and AC and have a washer and dryer in your unit which is always greatnnThe location is very convenient Right off of Woodward with 2 grocery stores banksatms and many different clothing and shoe stores nearby Were also only 5 minutes away from meijernnI can go on and on but the apartment is great more ...
