I would never suggest anyone rent an apartment at Century Oaks. My grandmother was treated in a rude and disrespectful way by the management. I think this is because the place has had so many different managers that they have a disregard for accuracy in their record keeping. Her requests were never taken care of. She lived without her kitchen cupboard doors for a lengthy period of time, and had a bad mouse infestation. Her rent was taken from the dropbox in the brick wall and given directly to the management office. The water there is really poor quality, often smelling and discolored. Whenever I called to ask why, the response was always that they had just done or were in the process of doing maintenance on the pipes. Do not drink the water from there. Additionally, gun fire is a regular occurrence, and police officers are often present responding to multiple disturbances on a daily basis. In conclusion, Century Oaks is not a secure place to live, neither physically or mentally. It is best to consider any other option rather than there. more ... hide ...
