Approximately one month ago, we discovered mold in all the bedrooms of our house. We reported it to the property manager who told us to fill out an incident report but not mention finding mold. Maintenance came and was unable to identify the source, so they opted to clean the air ducts. Henderson Heating and Cooling found a lot of black mold in our hot water heater closet. The property manager proposed spraying bleach and then painting over it as a solution; however, this would not address the wet walls causing the mold growth. When I attempted to call corporate office for assistance, maintenance appeared at my door without warning and began spraying straight bleach - indoors with kids present! This was unacceptable given my asthma and migraine susceptibility to chemicals like bleach. Additionally, our neighbor reported similar issues but their requests have gone unanswered.
