I have lived at this housing development for over 10 years and the only thing I can say good about my experience is just the home I live in is very comfortable but management and maintenance have been a true nightmare

It is a decent place to begin if it is your first. There is drug activity in the area (not in my building, although there are occasional gunshots). There are mice and roaches, but I rarely see roaches in my apartment (I sprayed the entire apartment before moving in and have not had a problem since). I spot a mouse about once every three months (I found some holes and had them patched, so it's even less than that). Nothing in my apartment has ever been tampered with or eaten. My daughter mostly stays inside because the children in the area are mostly ill-mannered, but that's alright (we go to Cooper River to play). You need to stay on top of maintenance to get things done, but they will get done. They also hold movie nights and BBQs to try to bring the community together. These are subsidized apartments in a difficult area of Camden, but it is what you make of it. If you keep to yourself and mind your own business, there will be no drama. Keeping a clean house and using the proper products will make it bug and rodent free. It's really that simple and I am comfortable enough here to stay until more ... hide ... Making a rental inquiry
