Our server took a bit of time to first show up, but the hostess brought flavored creamer, coffee and water. The food was delicious even though we didnt get it at the same time. I must have waited an extra 10 - 15 minutes . By the time I got the food it as very cool. If I ever go to that FJS again I will be sure I have a different server. Everything else was very good. Of course she could have been having a bad day. I would recommend the restaurant. more ... hide ...

What is Alaska Housing Rent Relief? Provides qualified Alaskans up to 12 MONTHS OF RENT and assistance with utilities.I have received 9 months of rent/utility assistance. However, my application is marked complete, w hen I should have 3 more months remaining. Turns out that this is because they count your electric and rent separately toward total months of assistance. I have spoken with Jennifer from valley charities and Sarah, a supervisor in the call center, they advised that i must do an appeal to get this fixed. I have spent the last hour looking on your website, your blogs, your quarterly reports, and i am unable to find anything that says if you ask for help with utilities that you are penalized and that is counted toward your months of rental assistance. No one in their right mind would ask you to pay their electric bill in lieu of a month of rent. IF your formula was correct, then I would have been given 18 months of assistance. When I spoke with my rent relief specialist, Terry Beverly, he did not state, \"hey are you sure you want help with your electricity bill, because if you do, we will count that against your months of rent.\" Your call center said that I am not allowed to pay back electricity so i can have my 3 months of rent assistance instead. I filed the appeal today, but, i heard from your call center that this is a very very common complaint, and if that is true than maybe it should be posted somewhere on your website...it is NOT in the fine print anywhere either, i asked the call center for a copy of this policy they said they do not have it because they are just the call center and only an appeal will get me my answers...now Im waiting. more ... hide ...

Manager, Ilene, at this property is a dishonest, lying, person who aids others in ripping off tenants. Her bosses at NeighborWorks are fine with that, apparently because, there is never an investigation, even with a pol ice report filed. No phone calls are ever returned from them. Board of Directors is lied to, so they dont know what is going on. Facility is decorated nicely. TV cameras everywhere. Lots of non-English speaking tenants, no sense of community at this building. Layout of apartment is awful, no room square, bedroom closet door so big, you cannot open the door if you have hanging clothes on the racks. No dishwasher, back door very difficult for elderly to open. My 11 months living there was a nasty experience. more ... hide ...
