My brother lives at the Tucson House and I dred coming there. The apartments are very big and seem well built. Aside from that the hallways smell aweful, a mixture between vomit, urine and mold. A few of the ever changin g security guards are nice bust most seem to have bad attitudes. Some of the residents are friendly but most are rude and act like each one personally owns the place. I cant count how many times one of the residents has come out of their apartments to \"correct\" me on something like how to use the elevator or ask me where my keys are (I guess to see if I live there?) And one woman who I believe works there who is the laundry rooms C/O. My brother keeps to himself and still has problems with some of the neighbors, although that seems to be anywhere one lives. If it wasnt for the city helping him I would advise him to move but for the most part he seems happy. Thanks Tucson House more ... hide ...

They dont even check the contracts they put. Washing machines are broken half the time. They take forever to fix anything. Roaches are a problem here. Id highly suggest somewhere else to live.

New maintenance crew is great they are spot-on! Quick responses! Thank you Jeffrey!Update: Ive lived here 7 years but because of covid-19 we decided to purchase a house one year early. They are older apartments and have their quirks but overall the largest and least expensive on the east side my daughter could find. I prefer living on the second floor or third floor. Really nice large balconies. Large outdoor space of trees and green grass. We got a lot of use out of the basketball court and tennis court combo. The kids loved playing basketball and even learning some tennis. I taught all three grandkids how to swim at the pools. This is also a really convenient area close to parks, Sabino Canyon and Mount Lemmon. Maintenance is quick to respond. When I see someone has posted they are looking for a reasonable apartment I always refer The View at Catalina. We will miss the many friendships from over the years. more ... hide ...
