Management was excellent. Karen has bumped my rating from what would be a 3-star to a 4-star. She went above and beyond to assist with whatever we needed, always responding very promptly to emails, even walking us person ally to the mailbox when we couldnt figure out which one was ours, and providing personal recommendations to future landlords when we left. Maintenance also did their very best, and came three times within a day of our maintenance request to try to deal with the mice problems.Which leads me to why I cant give a 5-star review our building was absolutely infested with mice and needed a very deep purge, poison-laying, and possibly more cleanly tenants overall. Again, not managements fault they did their best but the problem persisted. I saw at least one mouse daily in various parts of the apartment, no matter how many we caught in traps. It was horrific and unsafe.Secondly, the rent became astronomical even considering the housing market. We left and got a MUCH nicer 2-bed 2-bath, balcony, private yard townhouse for $200 PER MONTH LESS than we were going to be charged if we renewed our lease at the Knolls for our basement-feeling, 2-bed 1-bath. The electric heating also made utility bills very expensive in winter.Parking was also difficult to find as there were always more cars than spots.ALL THAT BEING SAID, we really enjoyed the little gym and, once again, we appreciated the very responsive management who did the best they could for the 6 months we lived at the Knolls. more ... hide ...

Ive had a great experience living in the Capri Apartments the past 2 years. I lived in a studio, and it was actually a pretty good sized space. It had 3 closets, which gave me plenty of storage space. It basically ca me with a kitchenette, just a fridge & freezer, stove & oven, sink, a few cabinets, and one counter-top. It did make cooking and baking difficult, but I was able to manage with my table. The AC in the building is always blasting during the summer and theres times I have to wear a jacket ha! I loved it though! Thankful for the AC. It was a great place to live.The staff are also very kind and helpful. They seem like they do care about any issues going on. Alexa is fantastic, and always very friendly in emails and calls! When I first mentioned I was moving and wanted to stay in the area or building, she was fantastic at helping me out and seeing if I could. I did end up moving elsewhere to a place owned by a different company, but Im always extremely appreciative of Alexas help!The one negative I can really think of is the parking. If it wasnt for that, Id give the place 5 stars. If youre not lucky enough to move in when theres a garage spot available, you pay way too much to park outside in spots that are being parked in by visitors or random people walking somewhere else. Its very frustrating and theres nothing you can do about it. You can call management during office hours, but outside of that? Youre out of luck! You can call the 24 hour line, but the people will say theres no one they can call so you can just write a note and leave it on the car. Its typically in the evening or on the weekends that people are parking in spots so theres nothing you can do about it. If management could possibly give towing info to the 24 hour line for when someone is parked there, that would be helpful at least.Other than that, everything else about the Capri was fantastic! more ... hide ...
